Autism Politico says: There are many types of news stories out there that ought to concern people on the spectrum. You've highlighted one of the things we might have been talking about in this editorial. However, we had something else in mind. Not saying what it was can be seen as teasing, but the idea was to get people to search the net and find out the news that may be of interest to them. Thank you for your comment.

NTs are often hypocrites and don't truly assess why they do what they do.
I think the worst parents of ASD children are those who are in denial of their condition, and also those who refuse to consider that poor-parenting will result in poorer outcomes for them. Genetics is definitely a significant cause, but apart from the permanently severe cases (significant frontal lobe impairment/damage), most ASD children are amenable to some sort of early intervention and tailored education in primary and secondary school years.

My impression is that these anti-vaxers want to find something to blame and singularly target instead of trying to address the ASD child's multiple issues in an efficient but varied evidence-based manner.

Perhaps it's also coz anti-vaxers watch violent TV programming and don't wish to deprive their family something which they themselves tolerate or enjoy...

I think there are cases of ASD people who bank on a career of ASD-advocacy/Neurodiversity even though they've never worked a "proper job" before, and don't bother applying, and it annoys me a bit.

I also think there are many cases of ASD people who have Tertiary qualifications but have difficulty obtaining / maintaining jobs due to indirect discrimination in job interviews, or ostracizing/bullying at workplaces, and I imagine would be more likely to get shafted in times of economic decline.

Ahh stressful state of affairs.
